Disney Cruise Line, a leader in the cruise industry known for its family-oriented experiences, is gearing up for an exciting expansion of its fleet, with plans to introduce a fourth ship in the popular Wish-class and an entirely new class of vessels. The forthcoming ships promise to carry roughly 3,000 guests each and will weigh about 100,000 gross tons. Smaller ships have the advantage of docking at ports that larger vessels cannot access, significantly expanding Disney’s operational footprint.

These vessels will not only have the capability to connect to shore power but will also be compliant with contemporary environmental standards by offering operational flexibility with various fuel types, including renewable sources. The new class of ships will roll out sequentially in 2029, 2030, and 2031, while the additional Wish-class ship is anticipated to join the fleet earlier in 2027.
