In an exciting development for the entertainment landscape of Las Vegas, the Palm Tree Beach Club is set to make its grand debut in May at the iconic MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. This ambitious project is not just an extension of the hotel’s offerings but represents a collaboration between two major players in the industry: Palm Tree Crew, co-founded by renowned DJ Kygo, and the Tao Group Hospitality, known for its vibrant restaurant and nightlife scenes. This partnership aims to redefine the outdoor entertainment experience in a city famous for its live music and lavish venues.
Occupying nearly 60,000 square feet, the Palm Tree Beach Club will cater to approximately 3,000 guests, promising an unparalleled atmosphere for music lovers and partygoers alike. The venue will feature a centrally located ground-level stage, where multiple performances can light up the space. Attendees can also indulge in the luxurious amenities that will include a saltwater pool, twelve private bungalows, ten cabanas, and numerous daybeds and chaise lounges. The design is poised to create an inviting and vibrant space, ideal for soaking up the sun during the day and enjoying electrifying performances as the night falls.
The establishment of the Palm Tree Beach Club signifies a transformation from its predecessor, the Wet Republic Ultra Pool, which was also managed by the Tao Group. This transition offers an opportunity to breathe new life into an existing venue, introducing fresh concepts that are designed to align with contemporary entertainment preferences. The decision to create this new hub reflects the evolving dynamics of entertainment in Las Vegas, where innovation and customer experience take center stage.
For the past four years, Palm Tree Crew has been dedicated to elevating live music experiences across the globe, and this venture into hospitality signifies the natural progression of their brand. According to Myles Shear, co-founder of Palm Tree Crew, the Las Vegas location will serve as a flagship for their vision, showcasing live performances that resonate deeply with a diverse audience. Shear emphasized the importance of such an environment, stating, “Creating unforgettable live music experiences is our mission, and Las Vegas is the perfect place to put this commitment into action.”
As the opening date approaches, anticipation is mounting among music lovers and patrons eager to experience what Palm Tree Beach Club has to offer. The first announcements regarding performances and ticket sales are eagerly awaited, promising an array of artists and entertainers. Furthermore, the MGM Grand is in the midst of a $300 million renovation project aimed at enhancing its main tower, due for completion in December, which further adds to the excitement surrounding the Palm Tree Beach Club’s launch.
This new venue is poised to become a beacon of entertainment in Las Vegas, combining luxurious amenities with compelling live performances, ensuring visitors have a memorable experience at the heart of one of the world’s most exhilarating cities.
